Mono Red Rally is a fast aggro deck that floods the board with cheap red creatures and closes with burn, so your priority is stabilizing life totals and sweeping their swarm before Rally at the Hornburg overwhelms you. Guardian of the Guildpact is your most important defensive threat here — protection from monocolored makes it immune to every removal spell and burn effect in their deck, so suit it up with Armadillo Cloak as quickly as possible to generate crushing lifegain. Prismatic Strands is a free fog that can blank their entire attack, buying the tempo you need to find your win condition. Breath Weapon comes in as a sweeper that deals 3 damage to all non-red creatures, efficiently clearing Voldaren Epicure, Clockwork Percussionist, and any tokens generated by Rally at the Hornburg. Midnight Tilling is too slow and reactive against this linear aggro strategy, so it comes out to make room.
