Izzet Aggro wants to race with prowess creatures and burn like Burst Lightning and Reckless Rage, so we want to stabilize and gain life rather than grind card selection. Beza, the Bounding Spring is excellent here, likely triggering multiple of its life gain, card draw, and token modes against an aggressive low-land, low-creature-count deck, giving us a life buffer and blockers. Enter the Avatar State protects a key attacker like Greasefang, Okiba Boss from their burn-based removal by granting hexproof and lifelink. Cache Grab and one Thundering Broodwagon are cut since they're too slow against this aggressive clock.
