Nykthos Ramp wants to resolve Storm the Festival or Cavalier of Thorns off huge mana, so Duress strips key ramp spells like Invasion of Ixalan or Storm the Festival from hand before they can be cast. The second Culling Ritual is strong early since Elvish Mystic and Llanowar Elves are mana value 1, denying their ramp plan while fueling your own mana. Go for the Throat is weak against Old-Growth Troll (which returns as a land-enchantment, dodging creature removal) so trim one copy; Graveyard Trespasser's upside is minimal since they have little graveyard synergy to attack.
