UBR grinds with card advantage from Fable of the Mirror-Breaker, The Theorist, Jace Beleren, and reanimation targets like Atraxa, Grand Unifier or Valgavoth, Terror Eater via Indomitable Creativity; Duress strips removal or a counterspell like Negate before you commit your own threats. Necromentia can exile a copy of a key bomb like Atraxa, Grand Unifier or Fable of the Mirror-Breaker from their hand, graveyard, and library, denying a recursive or reanimation-based plan. Sentinel of the Nameless City and Badgermole Cub are too small to pressure a deck planning to go over the top with huge creatures, so they make way for more targeted disruption. Keep Thoughtseize and Abrupt Decay as premium interaction against their early plays.
