Similar to the Prowess matchup, Izzet Aggro wants to go wide and fast with cheap prowess creatures, so we need blockers and efficient removal more than countermagic for creature spells. Stormwing Entity blocks well against Monastery Swiftspear and Pompous Battlemage while providing a scry 2 to find answers, and Abrade kills Screaming Nemesis or destroys a problematic artifact. Get Out is a poor rate against one-mana creatures, and Winternight Stories is too slow when they're applying early pressure. Prismari Charm and Fiery Impulse remain key removal pieces against their low-toughness threats.
