Dimir Aggro leans on cheap efficient threats (Faerie Miscreant, Moon-Circuit Hacker) and disruption (Thoughtseize, Fatal Push) backed by Kaito, Bane of Nightmares and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, so our own Thoughtseize and Duress proactively strip their key threats before they land. Fatal Push answers their cheap creatures efficiently, including Moon-Circuit Hacker and Faerie Miscreant at mana value 2 or less. Voldaren Epicure's ping does little against Sheoldred's 5 toughness and their removal-heavy plan punishes our small creatures, so some copies and excess Torch the Tower (which can't profitably hit Sheoldred) come out for proactive interaction.
