Nykthos Ramp wants to resolve big mana dorks and threats like Old-Growth Troll, Cavalier of Thorns, and Storm the Festival into an overwhelming board. Fatal Push answers their mana dorks (Elvish Mystic, Llanowar Elves) early, before they accelerate into Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx-fueled turns, and it can also kill Outcaster Trailblazer (mana value 3) when revolt is active, such as after a Treasure or Blood token is sacrificed. Witherbloom Charm's mana-value-2-or-less destroy mode kills their mana dorks, and its sacrifice mode helps us dig for answers. Chandra, Acolyte of Flame gives us a way to recast cheap instants like Fatal Push or Shrapnel Blast from the graveyard. Thoughtseize is weak since this deck is proactive and resolves big permanents we can't always identify as the key piece, and Torch the Tower's small damage rarely matters against their large bodies, so both get trimmed for better removal.
