Izzet Aggro fills the board with small prowess creatures like Monastery Swiftspear, Pompous Battlemage, and Emberheart Challenger, so Anger of the Gods and Brotherhood's End are excellent sweepers that exile or kill most of their threats before they grow too large; watch out for Screaming Nemesis which can punish you if it's dealt noncombat damage. Change the Equation answers their cheap burn and countermagic like Stubborn Denial while also hitting bigger threats. Negate is weaker since most of their deck is creatures, and The Theorist is too slow and fragile against their aggressive curve, so both get trimmed for sweepers and cheap interaction.
