This is a near-mirror match where both decks share the same core engine of Standstill, Mishra's Factory, Counterspell, Mana Leak, and Swords to Plowshares. Your opponent has a slight edge with Humility as a trump card against your Factory beats and Prohibit as an additional counterspell, but you have a small advantage in Phyrexian Furnace count and a slightly leaner curve. Standstill wars are the defining dynamic — breaking it yourself with Mishra's Factory activations or Dust Bowl is often correct if you can establish a board advantage. Trim one Phyrexian Furnace since graveyard hate is mostly symmetrical and live card advantage from an extra Fact or Fiction will matter more in a long control war. Play carefully around Decree of Justice cycling to break Standstill at instant speed, and prioritize countering their Humility since it blanks both your Faerie Conclave and token threats.
