Mono-Red Sligh is a pure aggro deck that wins by dumping cheap creatures and burning your face before you stabilize — your primary goal is to survive the early turns and pull ahead on card advantage. Ravenous Baloth is your best threat here, a 4/4 that laughs at Incinerate and can gain life in a pinch; Blastoderm is similarly resistant to their removal suite. Vendetta cleanly kills Grim Lavamancer, Jackal Pup, and Mogg Fanatic for one mana when you need early interaction. Phyrexian Furnace has minimal impact against a deck with no graveyard synergies, and Genesis is too slow and mana-intensive for a race this fast; Nantuko Vigilante is also cut as their enchantments (Seal of Fire) are minor concerns compared to surviving the red onslaught. Wall of Roots and Pernicious Deed remain in — Wall blocks early creatures and accelerates into your sideboard threats, while Deed sweeps their board once you have the mana.
