This opponent has real disruption: Swords to Plowshares and Naturalize for our key pieces, Wasteland, Rishadan Port, Winter's Grasp and Thermokarst against our mana, Sphere of Resistance to tax our spells, and Oath of Druids, which gives them a free creature from their library whenever we control more creatures than they do. They have no counterspells, so the plan is to protect our combo turn and smooth draws rather than fight their threats directly. Xantid Swarm triggers when it attacks, and defending player can't cast spells this turn. That stops Swords to Plowshares and Naturalize from being cast in response to our plays that turn, buying a window for Hermit Druid or Shapeshifter lines. It does nothing about Oath of Druids, which works through triggered abilities rather than spells. Enlightened Tutor can fetch Survival of the Fittest or Animate Dead, since both are enchantments, and puts the card on top of our library rather than into hand. That improves consistency for the next draw. Elvish Spirit Guide is cut because a one-shot G does little for our plan here. Duress stays in, since their deck has plenty of noncreature, nonland targets like Swords to Plowshares, Oath of Druids, Sphere of Resistance, and Winter's Grasp. A Wall of Roots comes out instead to make room for the extra Swarm.
