The Rock plays Pernicious Deed, which can wipe our whole board, so we want cheap, efficient removal we can reapply rather than overcommitting creatures; Vendetta and the extra Diabolic Edict answer Ravenous Baloth or Krosan Tusker cleanly. Graveborn Muse is a bad Pernicious Deed target and its life loss is a real cost in a grindy matchup, so it stays out; Ravenous Rats is redundant with our existing discard suite against their similar disruption plan. Keep Nantuko Shade and Mishra's Factory as resilient threats that dodge Deed if played carefully, and hold Duress/Cabal Therapy to strip their own Pernicious Deed or Cabal Therapy first.
