Elves wins by flooding the board through Priest of Titania and Gaea's Cradle, then either overwhelming with tokens from Deranged Hermit or finding a Kamahl or Tribal Forcemage finisher. Engineered Plague naming Elf cripples their entire mana base and token generation simultaneously, making it the highest-priority card to find. Infest and Powder Keg serve as insurance sweepers — Infest kills most of their board at instant speed isn't available but as a sorcery can reset after a Symbiote bounce, while Powder Keg handles Deranged Hermit's squirrel tokens and Survival of the Fittest. Ravenous Rats and single-removal spells like Snuff Out and the Edicts are trimmed since this matchup demands board control over hand disruption — once Engineered Plague is active, their individual threats become largely irrelevant. Nantuko Shade is cut to make room and because mana spent growing it is better saved for reacting to their board state with removal.
