Mono-Red Sligh is an aggressive deck that wins by deploying one-drop threats like Jackal Pup, Goblin Cadets, and Mogg Fanatic backed by efficient burn spells. Your discard suite of Duress and Cabal Therapy is weak here since Sligh operates at a low mana curve and refills threats quickly, but Cabal Therapy can still strip key burn spells like Fireblast. Infest is a powerful sweeper that kills their entire creature base, and Powder Keg cleans up at 1 or 2 counters to wipe their small creatures while answering Cursed Scroll. Ravenous Rats comes out because its 1/1 body dies to any of their burn spells and the hand disruption effect is marginal against a low-curve burn-heavy strategy; Chainer's Edict is too slow compared to Smother and Snuff Out for stopping early threats.
