Essence Flare gives us a way to gradually shrink and eventually neutralize Exalted Angel or Eternal Dragon over a few turns, since BW Control has no enchantment removal in its typical list. Chain of Vapor can bounce a resolved threat like Exalted Angel for tempo, buying time against Swords to Plowshares and Vindicate. We trim slower cantrips since this matchup is grindy and card quality from Essence Flare's incremental shrink effect outweighs raw card selection. Keep Daze, Foil, and Counterspell at full strength to protect Dreadnought from Vindicate and Swords to Plowshares, our biggest threats to the combo.
