Survival Elves' manabase is mostly basic Forest plus a handful of nonbasics, so Price of Progress underperforms and comes out. Sulfuric Vortex punishes their grindy Survival of the Fittest engine by adding an unblockable clock and shutting off any lifegain from Ravenous Baloth. Earthquake is strong here as a sweeper against their small mana creatures (Llanowar Elves, Fyndhorn Elves, Wall of Roots) and Squirrel tokens from Deranged Hermit while also being direct damage to the dome. Keep the full removal suite since Lightning Bolt and Incinerate answer their mana dorks and midsize threats efficiently.
