Mono-Black Midrange runs heavy hand disruption (Duress, Cabal Therapy) and dumps its hand quickly with Dark Ritual and cheap threats, which leaves Black Vise with few cards to punish, so trimming to one copy is reasonable. Gaea's Blessing replaces the cut copies: it replaces itself by drawing a card, and on our own turn it can shuffle up to three cards from our graveyard back into the library. As a sorcery it can't be cast in response to Withered Wretch, so it only recovers cards that are still in the graveyard when we cast it. Stasis is still strong since keeping their permanents tapped constrains the mana they have for pumping Nantuko Shade or animating Mishra's Factory. Keep Chain of Vapor in the main to bounce a problematic Nantuko Shade or Hypnotic Specter. Mishra's Factory is still a land while animated, so Chain of Vapor cannot target it. This is a low-impact sideboard matchup since most of our plan is already well-positioned against their midrange creatures.
