Aura of Silence taxes their artifact and enchantment spells (Standstill, Powder Keg, Phyrexian Furnace, Humility) by {2} each, and can be sacrificed to destroy a problematic Powder Keg, Standstill, or Humility, while Wild Mongrel is a weak topdeck against a deck with Wrath of God and Swords to Plowshares. Armageddon is strong against this Standstill control deck, since it punishes them for sitting back and denies them mana from lands like Mishra's Factory and Faerie Conclave. Wasteland further strains their manabase by destroying their nonbasic lands. Keep Sylvan Library and the full core creature-land suite since the long game favors our resilient threats once lands are reset.
