Elves is a fast mana and swarming deck that wins through Priest of Titania and Gaea's Cradle generating enormous mana, typically closing with Kamahl, Fist of Krosa or Deranged Hermit tokens. Pyroclasm and Simoon are your premier answers — both can wipe their entire board of 1-toughness elves in a single card, and Simoon in particular costs only two mana at instant speed. Cursed Totem shuts off Wirewood Symbiote, Priest of Titania, Wellwisher, and Quirion Ranger, crippling their engine entirely. Your own land-destruction package of Wasteland, Armageddon, and Vindicate is well-positioned to attack Gaea's Cradle, which is their most dangerous card. Anurid Brushhopper and one copy of Call of the Herd come out as they are slow and non-interactive relative to the speed of this matchup, while the singleton artifact and enchantment removal become redundant when Cursed Totem and mass removal are better answers.
