Replenish lives and dies by resolving Opalescence plus Parallax Wave or Decree of Silence, so extra artifact/enchantment answers are more valuable here than slower land destruction like Winter's Grasp or Thermokarst. Aura of Silence makes their artifact and enchantment spells cost {2} more, which hits Attunement, Opalescence, Parallax Wave, Decree of Silence and Tsabo's Web. It does not tax Replenish (a sorcery) or instant counterspells like Mana Leak. Its sacrifice ability destroys Opalescence or Parallax Wave before the lock turns on. Because it is an ability and not a spell, it can also remove a resolved Decree of Silence, which would counter a Naturalize aimed at it. Naturalize is insurance to strip a resolved Opalescence or Parallax Wave, but cast it before Decree of Silence is on the battlefield. Sphere of Resistance remains excellent since it taxes every piece of their combo plus their countermagic, so it stays in the maindeck.
