Torpor Orb neutralizes Dáin's Company's card-selection ETB and any other enter-the-battlefield value from their Dwarf-Equipment shell. Rest in Peace is largely a bonus here but denies any incidental graveyard value while being a cheap proactive card that doesn't cost tempo. Boomerang Basics and Cryogen Relic are too passive against a low-curve aggressive Equipment deck that wants to kill quickly. Day of Judgment and Pinnacle Starcage remain vital to reset the board against their wide, equipped creature strategy.
