Jeskai Control's gameplan revolves around Stock Up, Consult the Star Charts, and Jeskai Revelation, all noncreature spells and all countered under Spider-Sense; it also stops Negate, Three Steps Ahead, or Fire Magic from answering your threats. Rest in Peace cuts off their Tablet of Discovery's mill-to-play value and denies any graveyard-based recursion while being largely symmetrical since your deck isn't graveyard-dependent. Springleaf Drum and extra Nurturing Pixies are too passive against a control deck stocked with sweepers like Day of Judgment, so prioritize disruption instead.
