Lifegain decks like this grind value from Amalia Benavides Aguirre and Enlightened Confidant, both at mana value 2 or less, making the extra Seam Rip an effective way to exile them for as long as Seam Rip stays on the battlefield, buying time before they take over the game. Avatar's Wrath is a tempo sweep, not a permanent answer. It exiles their creatures like Liliana the Faultless and Moseo (we can spare one of ours), and until our next turn they can't cast anything from outside their hand, including the exiled creatures. They can recast those creatures for {2} afterward, so use it to set up a lethal swing or a big tempo gain. Springleaf Drum doesn't do enough against a grindy lifegain shell that will out-value small bodies. Keep our card advantage engines (Steamcore Scholar, Quantum Riddler) to race their incremental life gain before Ajani Resolute or Haliya take over.
