Settle the Wreckage is extremely strong against Mono-Black Aggro's wide attacks from Iridescent Vinelasher tokens, Nighthowl Pursuer, and Desolation Prowler, exiling the whole attacking team in one card. Dawn's Truce protects our board and life total from their removal-heavy hand (Shoot the Sheriff, Dissection Practice) while we stabilize behind flying blockers like Sage of the Skies and Starfield Shepherd. Nurturing Pixie is too small to profitably block their aggressive creatures and doesn't survive combat, so it's trimmed. Erode is fine but we're prioritizing the sweeper effect and protection spells over another one-for-one removal spell against this go-wide strategy.
