Temur Lessons is red and green heavy with Firebending Lesson, Combustion Technique, and Questing Druid, making Flashfreeze a strong catch-all counter against their removal and threats. Annul stops their Tablet of Discovery, an artifact central to their card advantage and mana development. Avatar's Wrath is too slow and symmetric against a deck that plays a reasonably low creature count early, so it's cut for more efficient interaction, and Enduring Curiosity trades down badly into Combustion Technique or a kicked Firebending Lesson. The extra Erode gives another cheap answer to Questing Druid or Thor, God of Thunder before it grows out of hand.
