Izzet Spellementals discounts Hearth Elemental and Eddymurk Crab through cheap cantrips like Opt and Sleight of Hand, so we want efficient removal and proactive threats. Get Lost cleanly answers a discounted Hearth Elemental or Sunderflock before it takes over. Airbender Ascension can airbend a problematic early Eddymurk Crab on entry and later blink your own creatures for repeat value. Interdimensional Web Watch is too fragile against their counterspell suite (Disdainful Stroke, Spell Pierce), so it and some Formidable Speakers come out.
