Izzet Spellementals relies heavily on Eddymurk Crab's cost reduction from instants/sorceries in the graveyard and on Prismari Charm's surveil mode, so Rest in Peace cripples that engine while incidentally hosing Eddymurk Crab's discount. Jennifer Walters shuts off their ability to interact on our turn, protecting our creature deployment from Prismari Charm bounce and Burst Lightning. Michelangelo's Technique and one Formidable Speaker are too slow and clunky against a deck that wants to race with cheap spells and Sunderflock bounce-backs. Keep the core creature engine intact since we out-value them with Doc Aurlock and Appa once we stabilize.
