Lifegain leans on cheap value creatures like Hinterland Sanctifier and Deep-Cavern Bat to trigger Amalia Benavides Aguirre and Case of the Uneaten Feast, so Seam Rip is excellent at exiling their two-mana-or-less enablers until Seam Rip leaves the battlefield (and exiling Deep-Cavern Bat returns any card it exiled) before they snowball. Rest in Peace disrupts Case of the Uneaten Feast's solved ability to recast creatures from the graveyard and denies any Moseo, Vein's New Dean value loops. This is a grindy matchup where our removal needs to be proactive against their engine pieces rather than reactive to combat tricks, so we trim the slower Michelangelo's Technique and Aang, at the Crossroads for more efficient interaction.
