Azorius Tempo floods the board with small flyers and value creatures like Momo, Sage of the Skies, and Steamcore Scholar, so Split Up's destroy-all-tapped or destroy-all-untapped modes can wipe their attacking or blocking line in a single sorcery. Seam Rip answers Momo, Nurturing Pixie, and other cheap threats before they generate value or compound card advantage. Smaug the Magnificent comes out since it's a clunky four-drop in a race where cheap interaction and board wipes matter more, and Erode trims since Split Up and Seam Rip already cover their low-cost creature suite more efficiently. This keeps the full 24-land manabase intact for a matchup that rewards consistent curve-outs against their own tempo plan.
