Mono Black Aggro relies heavily on graveyard recursion through Forsaken Miner returning itself and Corpses of the Lost's Skeleton synergies, so Rest in Peace completely shuts down their resilience plan and denies their crime-triggered recursion. Dawn's Truce is critical protection against their removal-heavy curve (Shoot the Sheriff, Dissection Practice) since it grants hexproof to save our board from a key sweep of removal spells during a crucial combat step. Burst Lightning is too slow trading with their efficient one-and two-drops, and Erode is redundant once we have better answers, so both come out along with a copy of Monica Rambeau since this matchup is a low-to-the-ground race. We keep our full mana base intact and focus on protecting our aggressive curve to outrace their swarm.
