Mono-Red Aggro is essentially a mirror match with a lower curve and lots of direct burn (Burst Lightning, Channeled Dragonfire, Lightning Strike, Shock), so Sheltered by Ghosts exiles one of their key early threats or their own Sarkhan/Smaug while also giving our creature lifelink and ward to survive their burn suite. Seam Rip exiles their cheap value like Hired Claw or Magda before it can generate Treasures for a bigger Dragon. We trim our slowest cards for these cheaper, more efficient interactive pieces since this matchup is a fast race where card quality per mana matters most.
