Izzet Leyline Aggro is a fast creature-based deck backed by pump spells like Ancestral Anger and Wild Ride plus Leyline of Resonance to double them up, so this is a race we need to win with efficient blocks and protection. Chainsaw's entry damage can pick off an early Elusive Otter or Stadium Headliner, and its growing power boost helps us out-block or out-race their team. Dawn's Truce protects us from Callous Sell-Sword by granting hexproof and saves our blockers against massive attacks by granting indestructible if gifted. We trim two Dragonfire Blade and two Thorin, Mountain-king since our other equipment already provides enough of a boost and Thorin is too slow against their aggressive curve.
