WBR is a fast, removal-dense mirror-ish aggro deck with Cool but Rude and Sunset Saboteur, so Dawn's Truce protects our board from their burn and removal (Practiced Offense buffs, Requiting Hex) at instant speed to keep our clock alive. Shattered Acolyte's lifelink helps stabilize the damage race while giving us a way to destroy an opposing Leyline Axe or Lavaspur Boots equipment if needed. We cut Dragonfire Blade since it doesn't accelerate our clock enough in what's a pure race, and trim Multiversal Passage since we want maximum colored consistency for our aggressive curve rather than a life-paying tapped land. This is a mirror-style race, so prioritize protecting our board and gaining incremental life over grindy value cards.
