The Ooze provides incremental graveyard hate and a long-game grind tool against their value-oriented artifact shell. Stir Up Trouble's extra cost is a liability against a deck with few early must-kill creatures, and Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice ability matters less when we'd rather hold removal for their key artifacts.
