Boros Aggro curves into bigger threats quickly with Magmatic Hellkite, Nova Hellkite, and Smaug the Magnificent, so one Requiting Hex is trimmed since its mana value 2 restriction only reaches their cheap creatures like Momo, Sarkhan, and Voice of Victory and does nothing against the 4- and 5-drops. Maelstrom Pulse gives us an unconditional answer to their dragons, including the 4/5 Hellkites, while Witherbloom Charm's destroy mode handles their cheap creatures like Voice of Victory and its life gain mode helps us survive the aggressive early turns. Glorious Decay's 4 damage mode kills Smaug, Clarion Conqueror, Momo, Monica Rambeau, and Twinmaw Stormbrood, but it does not kill the 4/5 Magmatic Hellkite or Nova Hellkite, so save the Pulse for those. Stir Up Trouble's extra cost is too slow against a deck trying to race us, so we cut both copies.
