Boros Dwarves is an aggressive equipment-based deck full of cheap creatures (Dwarven Mauler, Kili the Resourceful) that Requiting Hex answers efficiently for one mana. Guerrilla Gorilla provides a solid reach blocker versus their ground creatures and can sacrifice to destroy their key equipment like Leyline Axe or Basilisk Collar. Fanatical Offering and Vinereap Mentor are too slow and don't affect the board quickly enough against a deck that curves out with cheap threats and equips them for lethal damage fast.
