Mono-Green Landfall operates similarly to its Selesnya counterpart but is more focused and faster, relying on Llanowar Elves into Earthbender Ascension or Mightform Harmonizer to overwhelm with a pumped creature base before you can stabilize. Shoot the Sheriff is a two-mana instant answer to their key green creatures like Llanowar Elves, Mightform Harmonizer, and Icetill Explorer, providing crucial tempo in the early turns. Flashfreeze serves as countermagic protection against their green spells or pump spells later in the game. Disdainful Stroke counters high-mana threats like Mightform Harmonizer before they can dominate the board. Requiting Hex and Deceit are your primary removal suite — use Requiting Hex on Llanowar Elves and Deceit on Earthbender Ascension before they can trigger multiple landfall payoffs.
