Reanimator shares your Watery Grave and graveyard-adjacent territory, but their engine of Superior Spider-Man with Requiting Hex is more broken than your midrange plan. Soul-Guide Lantern is essential for breaking their Requiting Hex loop by exiling the graveyard. Annul counters Requiting Hex, Deceit, and Oscorp Industries that fuel their engine. Additional Requiting Hex from sideboard gives you more copies of your premier removal. Flitterwing Nuisance and Phantom Interference are low-impact in this matchup. Enduring Curiosity and Cecil, Dark Knight are good grind cards but don't contribute to stopping their specific engine, so they're trimmed for more targeted disruption.
