WBR is an aggressive midrange deck packed with efficient threats like Moonshadow and Iron-Shield Elf, so proactive discard from Duress is better than reactive counterspells that they can play around by simply not overcommitting into open mana. Strategic Betrayal is strong here, forcing them to exile a creature they control along with their graveyard, denying Bloodghast recursion. Spell Pierce, Spell Snare, and We Say Thee Nay! are weak since they play very few noncreature spells worth countering and can easily pay the tax with their mana base. Keep your removal suite (Bitter Triumph, Requiting Hex, Elektra) intact as your primary way to trade with their threats.
