Selesnya Landfall's early game is built on cheap creatures like Llanowar Elves, Sazh's Chocobo, and Icetill Explorer, which Vicious Rivalry can wipe out cheaply before Earthbender Ascension and Mightform Harmonizer take over. Liliana, Dreadhorde General provides resilient card advantage and blockers to outlast their landfall value engine. Duress has few good targets since their deck is almost entirely creatures, lands, and enchantments, and Mosswood Dreadknight trades poorly into their bigger bodies. Your existing removal suite (Witherbloom Charm, Requiting Hex, Deadly Cover-Up) remains well-positioned against their creature-heavy plan.
