BRG is a creature-based midrange deck full of small value bodies (Gene Pollinator, Greedy Freebooter, Rottenmouth Viper sacrifice fodder), making Slagstorm's 3 damage sweep very effective against their early board. Spell Snare and Get Out have weak targets here since most of their key cards are creatures with 2+ toughness or sorcery-speed value engines, not counterable-at-a-premium spells. Colorstorm Stallion is a fast, resilient threat that dodges their sorcery-speed removal like Stir Up Trouble and races their grindy sacrifice synergies.
