Izzet Leyline Aggro floods the board early with Elusive Otter, Stadium Headliner, and Slickshot Show-Off, making Slagstorm's 3 damage sweep very effective against their small creature base. Flashfreeze hits both red and green, and while this opponent's deck is mono-red-adjacent (Izzet colors, but essentially all red creatures/spells), it can still counter their key red spells like Wild Ride or Ancestral Anger — it is a solid include here. We trim one Traumatic Critique since we won't reliably have mana to make X relevant early against their fast clock, and Get Out is too slow and reactive against their proactive game plan. Keep Prismari Charm and Burst Lightning as premium interaction against their small bodies.
