Sultai Reanimator wants to dump big threats like Bringer of the Last Gift and Overlord of the Balemurk into the graveyard and bring them back cheaply, so Disdainful Stroke is excellent at countering their expensive payoffs outright, and Spell Pierce punishes their proactive plays early. Colorstorm Stallion pressures them before their graveyard engine comes online, since Burst Lightning and Impractical Joke don't interact well with their reanimation targets once they're back on the battlefield. Ghost Vacuum is already in the mainboard and can be doubled up to strip their graveyard of reanimation targets like Bringer of the Last Gift, but with limited sideboard slots we prioritize proactive speed and countermagic instead.
