This is a fast aggressive matchup where Dawn's Truce protects your board from a Wild Ride- or Turn Inside Out-fueled alpha strike and buys you time to stabilize with lifegain. The extra Voice of Victory adds another body that also shuts off their ability to cast spells on your turn, disrupting their prowess and combat trick shenanigans. Decorum Dissertation is too slow against this aggressive clock, and Emptiness's evoke mode for -1/-1 counters is a poor rate against their small, wide creatures, so both make room. Your Requiting Hex stays in since most of their creatures (Elusive Otter, Stadium Headliner, Callous Sell-Sword) are mana value 2 or less.
