This is a mirror match, so proactive disruption matters more than reactive removal. Duress can only take a noncreature, nonland card, so it strips a key piece like an Ajani Resolute, an Erode, or a Lunar Convocation before it can develop their lifegain engine. Enlightened Confidant is a reasonable card but comes in at the lowest priority since the mirror is decided by who gains life fastest and first, not by card selection, so trimming it for proactive disruption is fine. Seam Rip can exile their Hinterland Sanctifier or Enlightened Confidant (both mana value 2 or less) to slow their engine before it compounds. Keep your full lifegain core since outracing their Amalia and triggers is still the primary win condition.
