Boros Dwarves is an aggressive equipment-matters deck (Leyline Axe, Lavaspur Boots, Dragonfire Blade) where Strategic Betrayal permanently exiles their best equipped threat along with their graveyard, denying any recursion. Gideon the Oathless punishes every cheap Dwarf they play with incidental damage and is hard to remove profitably due to his ward. Hired Claw's 1/2 body dies to essentially everything they're doing and doesn't hold up as a blocker, and Stinging Vitriol's 2 damage won't meaningfully affect their resilient equipped creatures, so both are trimmed for more durable answers.
