4c Artifacts grinds out value through artifacts like Simulacrum Synthesizer and The Mind Stone plus sweepers like Day of Judgment, so Duress taking a removal spell or Day of Judgment out of their hand protects our board. Negate answers their key noncreature spells like United Battlefront or Perilous Snare before they can lock down our threats. Trim Rapid Rescue and Wistfulness for more proactive disruption, and cut Awaken the Honored Dead since its recursion is less valuable against a deck with few creatures worth returning to the battlefield.
