Jeskai Manufacturing is an artifact-synergy deck built around Legion Extruder, Weapons Manufacturing, and Pinnacle Starcage generating value and board presence with mostly noncreature permanents. Duress strips a key artifact or the copy of Tezzeret, Cruel Captain before it can take over the game, since this deck has very few creatures for us to fight through combat. Witherbloom Charm can destroy Cryogen Relic, Legion Extruder, or another mana value 2 or less artifact to disrupt their engine before it snowballs. Town Greeter and Wistfulness are cut since they're clunky against a deck that doesn't present combat threats worth trading with early.
