Post-board, expect Annul and Disdainful Stroke to come in to further tax your big spells, so sequencing Kavaron and Uthros carefully through Cavern of Souls is critical to forcing through your engine. Fire Magic gives you clean, mana-efficient answers to their elemental creatures before they can generate value, keeping the board clear while you develop toward Omniscience. Spider-Sense shores up your stack presence and protects your critical spells from their counterspell suite, buying the tempo you need to resolve your win condition. Lost in the Maze, North Wind Avatar, and some copies of Winternight Stories are too slow or situational against a deck that wants to out-tempo you on the stack.
