Boros Dwarves is a low-curve equipment aggro deck full of small bodies like Dwarven Mauler (2/1) and Warden of the Inner Sky (1/2); Fire Magic's Fira mode for {2} sweeps these away before they get equipped and out of hand. Shore Up protects our own attackers from their removal-light but combat-trick-capable equipment package (Leyline Axe, Basilisk Collar) while keeping our clock intact. We trim card selection for proactive disruption since this matchup rewards stabilizing the board over digging for gas.
